If you have a users IP address you can detect generally where they are in the word with a process called geolocation.

Since we know the Latitude and Longitude of your ip address we can plot a map of where you are in the word with the help of Google Maps
The map should show your ISP's closest router to your house. It may be a few blocks away depending on your area.
