In this case he has too. say he doesn&#039;t take my rook.

His king can not move anywhere (but take the rook), all sides are blocked. c3 by whites queen, c5,4d by whites pawn, entire 6th rank by the rook. 

He could move his knight but it wouldn&#039;t help him any. there is no way to block the queen from moving up... 

Its checkmate in two. 
If you can see anther way out for him please give me a heads up.

I know there has been some problems with the chess puzzles (such as a black square in the bottom right of the board) but I have been trying hard to keep them valid. 
if you notice any other problems with any of my chess puzzles please comment and i will try to fix them.</description>
